Rental Conditions
Please read the Rental Conditions carefully before signing the booking form.

The rental conditions refer to holiday accommodations
rental at the prices indicated in the price-list.
The minimum rental period is one week, from Saturday to Saturday,
or for periods multiple of a week.

or care of agencies authorized to act in its name and on its
behalf. Bookings shall be considered valid under the following
conditions:
a) The client has filled out and signed the enclosed
booking form. This form is binding.
b) Advance payment of 30% of the total due, if booking
is made 60 days prior to the start of rental.
c) The total balance is due by and no later than 45 days
before the start of rental. In the event of booking 60 days
prior to the start of rental, the client shall make the total
payment immediately.
d) Payment can be made by means of bank transfer, personal
cheque, registered cheque, postal money order or by means of
VISA/MASTERCARD.
Please note: fax, e-mail or telephone bookings shall
remain valid for maximum seven days. The payment due and the
form duly filled out and signed must be received within this
time: booking shall otherwise be cancelled.

On our receipt of payment, we shall send the
client his booking confirmation which must be handed to the
renter to be able to take possession of the rented unit, valid
for the names and the period written thereon. It is prohibited
to transfer the voucher to others or to show up in a greater
number of persons than those indicated in the voucher, given
that apartment occupation is limited to the number of persons
mentioned in the voucher. The owner can refuse access to the
persons in excess.

Arrivals are expected on Saturday between 4:00
pm and 7:30 pm. Departures must be effected on Saturday, by
and no later than 9:00 am.

On arrival, the client must pay the owner or
his appointee a deposit as specified in the price-list. The
deposit will be returned at the time of departure, but for holding
back sums owed for any damage caused or for expenses not included
in the contract (telephone, heating, etc.). In the event this
payment is not made, the person responsible reserves the right
to refuse the keys.

The tenant undertakes to occupy the accommodations
respecting the rules of a good neighbor. The client himself
must see to cleaning dishes and kitchen materials, as these
are not included in final cleaning. The apartments are handed
over to the client clean and in order. The condition of accommodations
correspond to the catalogue description updated on the basis
of information provided by the owners.

The apartments are equipped with the comforts
explicitly listed in the catalogue. The client who does not
intend to accept the condition of the rented accommodations
must do so at the moment he enters, in the presence of the renter
or his appointee and, in the event of a serious matter, also
to the Stagioni del Chianti person responsible who can be reached
by the owner. If the client leaves the unit rented before speaking
with the Stagioni del Chianti appointee, he loses all right
to a possible reimbursement.

Cancellation Norms: Should the client decide
to cancel his booking, he shall be entitled to a reimbursement
of the price paid after withholding the following percentages.
- 10% of the total price, if the waiver is received before 90
days of the start of stay
- 30% of the total price between the 89th day and the 40th day
before the start of stay
- 100% if the waiver is received within 39 days prior to the
start of stay.
The waiver must be made in writing (registered letter or fax).
Should the renter succeed in occupying the unit object of waiver
for the same period, only 10% of the total prices shall be withheld.
Stagione del Chianti reserves the faculty to substitute the
accommodations booked with an offer of equal value in the event
of serious unexpected occurrence. In the event of force majeure
(war, natural calamity, fire, etc.), on the other hand, Stagioni
del Chianti can cancel the contract and reimburse the sum paid.

For any legal controversies, the Court of Florence
shall have exclusive competence. Signing the booking form and
booking itself implies knowledge of the rental conditions and
involves their acceptance without reserve or exceptions. The
person who signs the form shall be held responsible for the
rental.

Fees are intended as weekly, from Saturday
to Saturday, and include the rent for the number of persons
provided in the catalogue, bed and bath linen, consumption of
water, electricity and gas for cooking and all else specified
in the price-list. Possible costs of heating, telephone (where
present) and every other extra service not specified in the
price-list are excluded. Baby cribs and beds for children under
3 years of age are available on request at no additional cost.

Most properties do not admit animals. Please
consult the price-list and, in any event, notify of the presence
of pets before confirming booking. Failure to declare the presence
of animals shall give rise to immediate booking cancellation
with no right to reimbursement.

In properties with swimming-pool, the period
of availability is specified in the price-list and is subject
to atmospheric conditions.

The period for the operation of heating is
regulated by Italian law and only in special cases of climatic
adversity is the competent province delegated to make any exceptions.
Please note that the cost of heating in Italy is generally much
higher than in other countries.

These conditions and related price-list are
valid from 1/1/2005 until 31/12/2005 and substitute all prior
publications.
